Because the ceramic is opaque, small slits are cut into the bottom of the raised sections to direct light into the indented areas, creating a subtle play of shadow and glow. The process uses only the clay required, giving the design a built-in sustainability story. An extra-bright bulb enhances the effect, while a metal stem in a brass finish completes the pendant’s clean profile. This fixture is dimmable.
